 Jennifer Petersen MA, LPC

Jennifer has over 30 years working with children and families in home-based, school, clinical and educational settings. She has experience working with diverse populations throughout Colorado. Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters in Community Counseling with a concentration on children and families and has been licensed as a professional counselor since 1999.

Jennifer’s broad experience began in 1987 as an early childhood educator which inspired her to pursue a formal education to serve families. She has been fortunate to experience a wide range of positions in both the community non-profit and private sectors, working with families in a variety of circumstances.  During the last 11 years she has focused on treating trauma from a physiological perspective using Neurofeedback with therapeutic consultation.  Jennifer’s personal experience as a parent and step-parent has inspired her to evolve as a clinician that values the integrity of the individuals with the goal of achieving optimal wellbeing for all.
